Life Fitness 95T Engage Treadmill
We have removed these fantastic treadmills from a commercial health club. This was one of the best treadmills offered by Life Fitness (additional TV feed required as screens are all Analogue)
These are the exact same treadmills found in many of the best and most prestigious health clubs throughout the UK such as David Lloyds. If you want a fully commercial treadmill and are looking for a very good quality treadmill with a proven track record then look no further.
All equipment is sold is used and as such will have all the usual signs of usage associated with a product that has been used in a commercial environment, this is however purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the treadmill.
We currently have over 20 to choose from, along with matching cross trainers, bikes and 2000 other products in stock ready to dispatch.
Please contact us if you would like to come and view this or any other treadmill in our warehouse before you commit to buying one.
Each item sold will be serviced and tested by our Life Fitness trained engineer and then cleaned prior to dispatch. PLEASE NOTE, the heart rate monitors on these treadmills are not covered by the rest of the item’s warranty as they are extremely temperamental so these will not be working.

Why add a treadmill to your fitness arsenal?
1 – Reduced impact on bones and joints
Every time you take a step on a hard surface such as the pavement, you’re sending the impact straight to your knees and hips. When walking it’s not noticeable, but if you spend a good chunk of your time each week jogging or running, you’re sending a lot of stress to your joints. Eventually you’ll run into problems with your ankles, knees, hips and back and in old age you’ll really be feeling it.
One of the biggest benefits of treadmills is that it reduces the impact on all of these joints much better than pavement can. The track is smooth and even, and many treadmills actually have impact resistance in mind when the bed is designed. Later in life your bones will thank you!
2 – Control is in your hands
Another benefits to using treadmills instead of running on the streets is that you’re completely in control. If you’re new to jogging and running then you can start with a light workout. If you’re an experienced runner then you can have yourself a more intense workout.
You can control the warm up and the cool down. You can control the speed at any time during the workout, which means that if you want to maintain a 7kmh run then its easier to keep up with the setting on the treadmill rather than guessing on a track or path. You can control the incline to push yourself further and train for uphill running. Treadmills are great for customising your cardio to any fitness level, from jogging newbie to cardio veteran.
3 – Simulating Races
Another treadmill advantage is that you can tailor your workout towards a specific race or hill climb. Need to train to job at 15 degrees incline? Set your Treadmill to 15 degrees and keep beating your personal best again and again before you even attempt the actual hill! If you know the race that’s coming up then you can tailor your workout to that track, months before you actually run it!
4 – Mental Health And Motivation
One of the best benefits to running on a treadmill, or any aerobic exercises, is that they help your mental health and keep you motivated. There’s actually two reasons for this – the first is that while your body is busy, your mind gets a break. There’s plenty to be said about the benefits of just going for a walk to mull things over – and a treadmill also fulfils this.
The second is that the act of using the treadmill actually releases increased amounts of endorphins. These are the chemical compounds in your brain responsible for creating the happy feelings. Therefore, scientifically speaking, running on a treadmill at home or in the gym can directly contribute to the relief of depression and anxiety!
Feeling happier more regularly can have a positive impact on your workout – making you actually want to workout more to chase that happy runner’s high, whilst also impacting the rest of your life in a better way. You can also listen to an audiobook or podcast while you workout, so you can build your brain while you workout your body too.
5 – They Improve Your Heart Health
Cardiovascular health is one of the main things to monitor as you get older. Simply, this is the health of your heart and the benefits of maintaining a healthy heart are way too many to list, but mainly you’ll lose fat easier, your circulation will be better, lowered risk of heart disease and heart attack, better muscle performance, better lung performance as they get the oxygen from your lungs more promptly, lower stress levels, a better sex life. Pretty much all areas of life are improved when you give your heart some exercise.
6 – Treadmills Are Convenient, Safe, And Private
When you’re first starting out jogging and running, chances are your self esteem is low and you’re wanting to actively work on losing weight and toning up – treadmills are great for that because you can do it all in the privacy of your own home. Nobody is going to see you gasping for air as sweat drips down your face, you’re well away from any cars that aren’t looking for joggers when they’re pulling out of roads and you’re also safe, there’s no stranger danger.
Want a night time jog? Go for it, you don’t have to wear anything reflective, you don’t have to be cautious of strangers and you can immediately shower and sleep afterwards. You don’t have to drive to the gym to use a treadmill, they’re just a really convenient option for runners to have!
7 – Weight Loss
The reason every newcomer to the gym goes straight for Treadmills and the cardio section as a whole – to lose weight. Running on a treadmill can help you lose weight pretty quickly, burning 100 calories for every mile that you run. It’s a full body exercise so this means that you burn more calories with a treadmill than you do with other aerobic exercises such as cycling – so that’s definitely another plus!
8 – Muscle Building
Aside from weight loss, treadmills also help you build muscle! Cardio, stamina and muscle, what more could you want? Running obviously uses your muscles, which means you’re building those muscles too – primarily your legs but your abs and back muscles too as they’re keeping you upright as well. You’ll even tone up your arms as well!
9 – Improved Joint Flexibility
As we get older we really begin to depend on being mobile and remaining upright – increased joint flexibility can combat the effects of degenerative bone diseases, as well as arthritis and other conditions which would limit your flexibility. Running on a treadmill won’t eliminate your chances of getting these ailments, but will slow down the effects dramatically and keep you on your feet!
10 – Easy To Use
The last benefit of Treadmills is the ease of access. Basically, treadmills are ridiculously easy to use – walking is something most people do daily, we’re used to it and we know how to do it. There’s no technique to learn with a treadmill – just do what you know how to do but faster. They take pretty much no effort to set up and get going – most of the time you can just click “start” and it’s going!
