Service & Repair Engineer

 Job Type: Full-time

Servicesport (UK) Ltd currently have job opportunities for Service & Repair engineers based in all areas of the UK.

This customer facing role will provide the highest level of customer service to all customers, offering repair resolutions for all reported product faults, preventative maintenance servicing, fault diagnosis together with general maintenance of fitness equipment.

The role consists of the following main duties:

• Service and Repair – attend commercial and residential sites to repair reported issues within the specified service level agreement, or carry out routine maintenance in accordance with guidelines and procedures, as allocated by the National Service Manager

• Job Management – Update and completion of each job to include parts used during the job via PDA’s and job sheets, also ensuring procedures regarding updating systems and office are met.

• Stock Control – Responsible for the replenishment of the parts on assigned company vehicle.

• Maintenance of company property including vehicle, tool kits and uniform.

Qualifications

A formal Mechanical or Electrical qualification would be advantageous although not essential, however experience in mechanical and electrical repair is essential.

Experience & Skills

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively under their own initiative with guidance from the head office. They must possess a professional manner and have the ability to build good working relationships with customers. Ensuring that all activities carried out comply with the Company’s Quality Management System, Health and Safety legislation and legal stipulations. A flexible approach to work and tasks is essential along with good administration skills to ensure customers, the company systems and office personal are kept fully up to date with work progress. A full, clean UK driving license is also required.

Salary: £24,000.00 – £26,000.00 per year

Parts Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Servicesport (UK) Ltd currently have a job opportunities for a parts technician based at our head office in Chorley.

Summary:

Reporting to the Parts Supervisor. A key role in the day to day running of the busy Central Stores Parts Department providing speedy delivery of a vast variety of parts to Engineers, Service Teams, Customers and Production.

Key responsibilities: ensure all stock is received and located in a controlled, accurate and timely manner and in line with Company procedures.

The role of Parts Assistant: requires a hands-on approach in booking goods in, picking jobs, dealing with Engineer returns, Supplier Non Conformance – all major activities but not exhaustive. Service Level Requirements demand speedy transacting of picking and dispatching within the same day as standard practice whilst working to Company Guidelines and Systems, ensuring the integrity of all inventory.

Description of Key Duties/Responsibilities

 Day to day running of central stores, parts picking, goods in and out and engineer returns. It is essential that accurate recording of stock movement and goods is and dispatch processes are maintained.

– Assisting central stores department ensuring procedures including bin location control, stock checks and formal stock counts are adhered to.

– Liaising with parts supervisor to ensure requirements are met, including timely dispatch of parts internally and externally, replenishment of engineer van stocks and any other tasks which are in line with your duties.

– Suggest and implement improvements within the central stores area.

Qualifications

No specific qualifications are required. It is essential however that the person be confident, educated, have the ability to adapt to computer system operations and have good verbal communication skills.

Experience & Skills

Experience in a similar Parts role is not essential but would be beneficial, the Parts Assistant must be able to multi-task and be a good communicator so that internal and external Customer expectations are managed and achieved.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00

Break Times: 10.00 – 10.15 and 12.30 – 13.00

Flexible working will be required on occasion to carry out work outside these hours specifically at quarterly stock takes and in response to business needs.

Salary: £6.56-£8.91 per hour, dependent on experience and performance.

CNC Operator

Job Type: Full-time

Servicesport (UK) Ltd currently have a job opportunity for a CNC Operator based at our head office in Chorley.

Duties Include:

· Collating orders for numerous parts as for lists created in programming

· Use CNC machinery safely and accurately to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.

· Selecting & loading of the correct material

· Checking dimensions and quality of work in accordance with drawing and job card instructions

· Ensuring the machine if cutting efficiently

· Checks on number of parts run & signing job cards

· Interpret company documentation – drawings and job cards

· Set up the machine correctly and safely for the work to be carried out.

· Carrying out machine maintenance as per schedule

· Ensure finished items are stacked safely on appropriate pallets

· Keep work area tidy and free from hazards

· Ensure adherence at all times to the Company’s Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures and maintain compliance to appropriate standards

· Carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and themselves, in compliance with current legislation and Company Environmental, Health and Safety procedures including general housekeeping

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00
