    This customer-facing role involves fault diagnosis, servicing, repairing and the general maintenance of gym equipment.

    Service & Repair – attending commercial and residential sites to diagnose faults, repair reported faults and carry out routine maintenance of gym equipment in accordance with guidelines and procedures.

    Job Management – update the status of allocated jobs, via PDA, ensuring all completed jobs are ready to be invoiced in our central management system. Work with our office-based Customer Support team to schedule jobs within your designated zone to ensure priority jobs are completed within service level agreement requirements.

    Stock Control – liaise with the Stores Manager to replenish your van stock of gym equipment parts.

    General maintenance and upkeep of company property.

    Requirements: Two GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above in English and Maths are required to ensure enrolment in apprenticeship scheme Level 2 Engineering Operative.

Suitable candidates for this role must be able to work under their own initiative, deliver an excellent level of customer service, act in a professional manner and build good working relationships with customers and fellow ServiceSport UK staff. Ensuring that all activities carried out to comply with the Company’s Quality Management System, Health and Safety legislation and legal stipulations. A flexible approach to work and tasks is essential along with good administration skills to ensure customers, the company systems and office personnel are kept fully up to date with work progress. A full, clean UK driving license is also required.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The goal of the Internal Sales Coordinator Apprentice is to facilitate inbound sales in every possible way across the range of products for ServiceSport. The Sales Executive will assist the Internal Sales Coordinator team and National Sales Manager (NSM) to drive the growth of the business with all inbound sales. As an Internal Sales Coordinator Apprentice, you must be enthusiastic and friendly to best aid and advise customers, to maintain the relationship and continued custom. You will contribute to meeting the sales targets set as prescribed. As an Internal Sales Coordinator Apprentice you must have a good understanding and knowledge of all products / services you are selling (in-house training provided). This expertise combined with excellent communication skills ensures the finest customer experience, which will lead to a greater volume of sales.

    ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Description of Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    TASKS

    1. Monitor and action (within prescribed KPI) all emails received in Sales Support Inbox.
    2. Produce and Provide quotes to customers as and when required.
    3. Produce monthly reports and reviews for NSM or when requested.
    4. Update and maintain CRM (simPRO) prevalent to Sales workflows.
    5. Ensure the Sales page on SSNET is kept up to date with all relevant info/data.

    1. You are to ensure all enquiries, leads and quotes that are generated through our internal systems are actioned within the designated KPI and followed through the to sale before converting to job for the relevant after sales process.
    2. Ensure all relevant info and notes are added onto the CRM system and updated as and when necessary.
    3. All existing customers are contacted in a timely manner (with the use of CRM) to ensure they can renew their contracts with ServiceSport.
    4. Encourage the upsell/upgrade of contracts and products on enquiries or renewals.

    Outbound

    5. Pass all outbound leads onto the NSM as directed.

    Outstanding Internal Sales Coordinators Apprentice can find the right balance between being customer-oriented and applying an approach that ensures the continuity of inbound sales remains and grows, all while being professional and displaying enthusiasm.

  • Customer Support Coordinator Apprentice

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    A key role designed to provide excellent customer service and account management to your designated customers. This role involves coordinating and providing accurate SLA information, upselling and cross selling our products and services to customers and also building up the relationship with key personnel within your areas of responsibility.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Daily & weekly communications with customer
    • Prioritising works/jobs to meet the needs of the customer
    • Coordinating works and engineers to site
    • Produce monthly SLA reports for management and customer
    • Update and maintain account assets register
    • Establish and grow communications with all departments within the business

    KEY POINTS:

    Service & Repair Targets

    • Hitting service targets set by the company for the Operations Team, this includes service renewals to ensure they are approved within at least a month before they expire.
    • Also bring in new service contracts. Spotting the opportunity to upsell customers from ad hoc service contracts to all-inclusive service contracts and ensure this is passed & communicated to the Commercial Manager and customer.
    • Keeping business plans up to date on service & repair targets and equipment and monitor your progress with the updates from accounts for the monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
    • Cross selling and upselling between service and equipment customers.
    • Ensuring customer and internal target information is accurate and set out to the correct standard.

     

    Customer SLA’s:

    Sending customer SLA updates to the service delivery manager weekly and also preparing the SLA packs to be sent to the customer. Information must be checked to make sure it is correct and presented to a high standard.

    Asset management:

    • Ensuring customer asset lists are kept up to date and all asset movement is accurately recorded in the database.
    • Making sure that amendments are done using the correct resource and documentation to ensure the asset lists contain the information as set out by the customer and for ServiceSport’s internal management requirements.
    • All responsibilities require proactive and reactive actions daily.

    • 45% of time – installing and carrying out internal moves of gym equipment on customer sites
    • 45% of time – travelling to customer sites across the UK.
    • 10% of time – completing dynamic risk assessments to continually observe and analyse risks and hazards in the work environment.

    No formal qualifications are required.

    Experience & Skills

    Experience within the fitness industry isn’t necessary, although experience with manual handling, working in teams and driving Luton box vans is advantageous.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    No specific qualifications are required; however, it is essential that the person must have proven experience in a sales role within the fitness industry for at least 12 months. You should be familiar with handling customer enquiries and using a CRM system. As with any customer-facing role, having excellent communication skills is a must.

    Your Responsibilities:

    – Fault diagnosis, servicing, repairing, and general maintenance of gym equipment
    – Attending commercial and residential sites to carry out necessary repairs and routine maintenance according to guidelines and procedures
    – Efficiently managing allocated jobs and updating their status using our user-friendly PDA system
    – Collaborating with our office-based Customer Support team to schedule jobs within your assigned zone and meet service level agreement requirements
    – Coordinating with the Stores Manager to replenish your van stock of gym equipment parts
    – Ensuring the upkeep of company property, including your vehicle, tool kits, and uniform

    Qualifications and Skills:

    – Mechanical or Electrical qualification (advantageous, but not essential)
    – Experience in mechanical and electrical repair (essential)
    – Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the Customer Support team
    – Ability to work independently, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain professionalism while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
    – Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System, Health and Safety legislation, and legal requirements
    – Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
    – Good administration skills to keep customers and office personnel updated on work progress
    – Possession of a full, clean driving license

    Rewards and Compensation:

    – Salary range: 30,100€ – 33,500€ per year (depending on experience)
