ServiceSport are Europe’s leading independent service and repair provider. Our number one mission is to supply gym equipment and parts to the fitness industry while providing independent technical support.

Founded in 1999, we combine years of experience in machine repair by using modern technology. Our constant learning process allows us to demonstrate successful projects and excellent quality service.

 

ServiceSport has developed a nationwide reputation of providing a high quality of service. We offer:

Remanufacturing – We are approved and licensed manufacturers of LifeFitness cardiovascular equipment.

Servicing – We offer a range of service levels to maintain almost all brands of indoor gym equipment. Our engineers are based in the UK and travel abroad. Our services include all-inclusive contracts, ad hoc, audit servicing and full estate management.

Planning design – We offer our customers the experience of viewing 3D images of what their new build or existing gym area’s will look like prior to placing an order.

Own brand fitness equipment – Along-side our huge selection of free weights and functional training kits, we also offer two top of the range spinning bikes

Parts – We have over 50,000 gym equipment parts in stock across multiple brands, making us the biggest parts supplier in the EU.

Colin Marriott

Colin Marriott

Founder/Owner

Colin’s career first began as a sales manager operating in the packaging industry. He worked for a fitness equipment manufacturer and it was from there that he spotted a gap in the market for a nationwide independent service provider in the commercial fitness equipment sector. Founding ServiceSport in 1999, Colin has grown the business into one with a nationwide reputation of providing a high quality of service.

A keen follower of football at all levels, Colin is a lifelong Manchester City fan and supporter of local teams in the North West Counties league. Outside of his busy schedule, Colin enjoys spending valuable time with his grandkids and playing the occasional round of golf at the weekend.

Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis

Commercial Director

Michael began his career in the Fitness Industry back in 2001 as a Fitness Instructor for Virgin Active. Over the years he has worked in multiple roles as a General Manager, Regional Manager, National Fitness Manager and Head of Product, working for Sports Direct/Everlast Fitness Clubs and JD Gyms – before joining ServiceSport UK Ltd in May 2019.

Michael is a high-level director tasked with the job of guiding/supporting ServiceSport (UK) Ltd through the commercial landscape. He supports the company to maintain a consistent trajectory of growth, while avoiding obstacles that arise from a constantly shifting market. He is a loyal, strategic and dedicated senior leisure professional, who has a real passion for achieving results through inspirational leadership, developmental coaching, meticulous financial acumen and the development and execution of strategic developments. He has a proven track record and thrives on improving business performance through people engagement, customer obsessed service, world class standards and analytical analysis of key performance metrics.

Michael enjoys spending time with his family and as a father of three, he’s kept busy in his spare time. However, he will always find time to squeeze in a round of golf.

Graham Wood

Graham Wood

Finance Director

Graham first began his career as an accountant after graduating from the University of Salford with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. Since then, he has gone onto work as CFO at multiple organisations before joining the ServiceSport team in September 2019.

Graham is an accomplished and innovative qualified accountant and C-Suite executive with extensive commercial and business development experience within highly competitive markets. He is a proven leader, with a strong entrepreneurial nature combined with the ability to devise innovative solutions focused on business performance enhancements.

Graham is a lifelong Everton fan and enjoys watching the team play in his spare time. He also operates as the Director of football at Witton Albion football club.

Chris Crane

Operations Director

Chris began his career at ServiceSport in June 2016, after previously owning his own business that operated in the fitness industry. Over the years, Chris has worked in several roles at ServiceSport including National Service Manager, Head of Operations and Operations Director.

Chris plays a pivotal role at the heart of the business. He oversees all operational aspects of the company strategy, helping to set strategic goals to ensure that the company achieves its short and long-term objectives.
